A small, twin-engine plane has crashed on the 405 freeway outside Los Angeles, CBS Los Angeles reports . The crash was first reported at 10 a.m. John Wayne Airport tweeted that the nearby freeway has been closed in both directions "due to debris on the roadway."  The airport will remain closed to arrivals until further notice. A passer-by shared a photo of the crash with his followers on Twitter. Firefighters said two people were injured from the crash. The cause of the crash was being investigated.

Chris Paul is on his way to the Houston Rockets, according to a report from Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, in a move that is expected to shake up the NBA's power structure. Paul was set to become a free agent, and reportedly informed teams he would sign with the Rockets. He then chose to opt in on the final year of his contract (worth $24 million) so that the Clippers could trade him to Houston, in exchange for Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker, Lou Williams and L.A.’s top-three protected 2018 first round pick, according to Wojnarowski. He also reports the Rockets are trading cash for Tim Quarterman of the Portland Trailblazers​ to add more non-guaranteed contracts to use in either the Clippers deal or other future moves. Wojnarowski reported that Paul and James Harden were “determined” to play together. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reports the Rockets are now trying to acquire Paul George.
